Sony Ericsson memperkenalkan ponsel terbaru untuk pasar Cina. Ponsel bernama Sony Ericsson A8i ini juga merupakan produk pertamanya yang beroperasi pada jaringan TD-SCDMA 3G dan menggunakan sistem operasi OPhone 2.0.

Ponsel ini memiliki bentuk yang identik dengan ponsel Android Xperia X10 namun memiliki layar yang lebih kecil.
